Have a Go was a BBC radio programme and the first British broadcast quiz to offer a cash prize, it ran from 1946-1967. The website UK Gameshows has many more details and photos of the hosts, Wilfred Pickles and his wife Mabel and their pianist, Violet Carson who later played Ena Sharples in Coronation Street.
