Shortly after release of the 1st Edition a number of corrections and updates needed to be made. I have given the date of circa 1965 for the publication of the 2nd Edition largely based on the various strip changes made by clubs.

The release of the 2nd Edition must have cleared up all the errors and ensured that the game was 100% bang up to date. If you would like to double check that there are no mistakes in the historic strips, crests or nicknames of the 44 football clubs depicted then www.historicalkits.co.uk might be a good starting point.

Aside from a new Title Card there are very few differences between the box and rules of the 1st and 2nd Editions. The printing of the 2nd Edition's cards does look brighter and sharper and the backs of the cards in this edition are printed the right way up.
