There are 44 cards: 5 cards for each of the 4 Railway companies and 5 Pool cards. There are also 4 Station cards, 4 Red Signals and 8 Green Signals and 3 Passes.

A reissued version of Express 2nd Ed. was published by Lagoon in 2011 under license from Neale Dataday.
