Illustrator or Designer: Not Credited but "issued with permission of the publishers of 'Jutland' ".

Contents: A printed envelope/postal wrapper containing 2 Rules Sheets and 2 identical Playing Pads. Nb. There are two versions with subtle differences.

In version 2 the price is boldly displayed and the number of games has dropped from 32 to 30.

At the bottom of the rules sheet in Version 2 is the line " 'Combat' is issued by permission of the publishers of 'Jutland' ". The game of Jutland is almost identical to Combat and was published in pad form in the 1920s and in board game format in 1955.
