British Wild Flowers - Box Front
Wild Flower Sevens is one of the Pepys games that Gibsons retained when they took over the brand in 1984. The Gibsons game is called "British Wild Flowers", however the original name was retained on the first edition's rules. The card design is the same but the colour of the backs was changed.
The earliest edition of the game has no barcode on the box and other small differences. I have found two examples and both have cards and rules from the T.J. & J Smith version of the 2nd Edition. Presumably unsold T.J. & J stock was simply reboxed. I have yet to find a Gibsons box without a barcode but with Gibsons rules, if I find an example I will add it here.
The post 1984 pack illustrated here was part of Rex Pitts' collection.
To compare the Gibsons version with the original Pepys editions and view all the cards see the page here.
