Wild Life was the only Pepys game that used colour photographs. The photos were taken by Philip Wayre at the Norfolk Wildlife Park at Great Witchingham that he and his wife Jeanne had founded in 1961.

Philip Wayre MBE appeared as a naturalist on both the BBC and ITV. Today he is perhaps best remembered for the key role he played in the helping to save otters from extinction in Britain, you can read his obituary here. And Remembering Norfolk includes personal recollections of Norfolk Wildlife Park and a short film featuring Philip Wayre.
